10 Years Challenge In The Educational Industry

Writer: Sapphire International School, NoidaSapphire International School, Noida

In the past 10 years, the Indian education system has progressed from following traditional pedagogy to computerized learning.

Rapid changes are seen in the educational industry. Since the past ten years have marked as important years in the educational field all sorts of changes in the educational system, from obtaining the best out of your pre-school education to getting a place at the top University.

The way we learn continues to develop at a rapid rate just as technology does. In simple terms, we have a tendency to learn at a fast rate as technology does.

Education has assumed great importance in the modern world. Some sweeping changes have seen in the last 10 years Challenge. Nearly in each and every school, the vast changes can be seen in the educational process. At Sapphire we provide our students with an active learning environment, thus becoming a more efficient way of equipping young people with the required life skills to attain their goals.

Students generally learn project-based concepts, and so leadership qualities can be fostered at a very young age. The project-based learning enables the learners to work together as a team, thus developing team building.

Classroom learning has become the defining norm of recent Indian education. Despite the redundancy of rote-learning -- among different traditional practices -- both parents and teachers contemplate project-based learning and active learning methodology as essential tools to attain higher marks in the examinations.

Modern technology-enabled educational aids facilitate optimum use of multiple intelligence.

Traditional teachers accustomed to textbooks, written notes, chalks and blackboards are now currently adept at smart-boards, computers, and flash drives. The students, too, on their part have stopped relying heavily on the actual classroom learning and have started using the internet, e-library and online learning systems.

This would also be evident in the students’ work, which would be displayed conspicuously, and one would notice that the modern student is far more expressive, and with a freedom that wasn’t so evident 10 years before.
